The Millennium databases are made available online by the German Astrophysical Virtual Observatory (GAVO). GAVO uses an Apache Tomcat Java web server deployed on machines at the Max-Planck Institute for extraterrestrial Physics (MPE). This webserver manages user accounts for the shielded part of the database and performs all the query functions for the user. The web server itself can be accessed through a variety of clients. These are described in the pages accessible at the top. |
